LGBQ/T competent. Pronouns: she/her/hers

Deep Seed Doula was conceived to share my knowledge, encouragement,
resources and sincerity of service to expectant families and laboring mothers.
I found that with my own births, a profound desire was born as well,
to take care of the family and one another.
For me, the desire took the shape of love, belief and passion
Those core values drive me to be a better parent internally and a credible resource of support
to the expectant families I am honored to touch through education and doula support.
My deep seeded faith in the birth process prepares me to be a trusted support to
laboring families, a model and inspiration to my family,
I remain a humble student of the human spirit, blessed to witness the love
that transforms a person into a parent, in the course of birth.

Love...
for the birthing process that women have both owned and been subject to since the beginning of time.

Belief...
in that process as a natural one, which can be experienced fully, participated in actively and respected fearlessly with responsible education, support and well-informed choices in the months leading up to the birth itself.

Passion...
to connect with parents and babies
as they meet one another in birth.

-
During labor the baby needs to pass through the three levels of the pelvis. Learn techniques to help your pelvis and its muscles that support or restrict your pelvic levels. Together, you and your birth partner can use these techniques before and during labor to help “make room for baby!”
-
Learn about Spinning Babies Techniques, Daily Essentials, and the Three Sisters of Balance to help birth muscles to relax and add comfort now to ease birth later.
In addition, my previous professional experience as a Director of Training & Development prepared me to engage time-pressured adults with credible and impactful education and preparation. Coupled with 6 years as a Chef, my background gives me a unique love for hospitality and service, and for being set up with the right tools to succeed. These are indispensable traits of a doula: a willingness to serve and customize experience to build confidence, knowledge, empowerment and capability.
