Deep Seed Doula was conceived ​to share my knowledge, encouragement,
resources and sincerity of service to expectant families and laboring mothers.
I found that with my own births, a profound desire was born as well,
to take care of the family and one another.
For me, the desire took the shape of love, belief and passion
Those core values drive me to be a better parent internally and a credible resource of support
to the expectant families I am honored to touch through education and doula support.
My deep seeded faith in the birth process prepares me to be a trusted support to
laboring families, a model and inspiration to my family,
I remain a humble student of the human spirit, blessed to witness the love
that transforms a person into a parent, in the course of birth.

Certified Birth Doula through The Organization for Labor Assistants & Birth Resources (TOLABOR), with 690 births attended to date (July 2024)

BACE-Certified Childbirth Educator (BCCE) since June 2013, teaching for Newton-Wellesley Hospital's Wellness Center, as well as private childbirth classes

Former Director of Training and Lead Faculty Instructor for Boston Association for Childbirth Education (BACE) 2018-2024, facilitating annual sessions for certification of childbirth educators and ongoing education for birth professionals in all areas of perinatal health
Spinning Babies Certified Parent Educator since October 2018, teaching workshops which highlight your baby’s active role in birth. Spinning Babies methodology colors all forms of my educational, information, and hands-on support​​
Member and supporter of The Educated Birth since March 2022, utilizing graphics and illustrations by diverse artists and birth professionals, representing birthing people of all genders, races, abilities and family structures to strengthen intersectional reproductive health education​​
In addition, my previous professional experience as a Director of Training & Development prepared me to engage time-pressured adults with credible and impactful education and preparation. Coupled with 6 years as a Chef, my background gives me a unique love for hospitality and service, and for being set up with the right tools to succeed. These are indispensable traits of a doula: a willingness to serve and customize experience to build confidence, knowledge, empowerment and capability.
